How can Allah be praised, and what is an example of that?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The best praise for Allah is that which is mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, for Allah and His Messenger know best what befits Allah. Among the most eloquent forms of praise is Surat Al-Fatihah, where Allah Almighty says: "My servant has praised Me" when the servant says, "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds"; and "My servant has extolled Me" when he says, "The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful"; and "My servant has glorified Me" when he says, "Sovereign of the Day of Recompense." This also includes what is mentioned regarding Allah's Greatest Name, the supplication for distress, and the established remembrances and supplications.
