What is the ruling on repeated ghusl (ritual bathing) from semen for someone who stutters, and is it permissible to suffice with one ghusl if semen is discharged more than once in a day?

The emission of semen with desire necessitates ghusl (ritual bath) by consensus. However, its emission without desire does not necessitate ghusl; rather, it necessitates wudu (ablution). The proof for this is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to Ali: "If you spurt water, then ghusl becomes obligatory."

It is necessary to distinguish between semen (mani), pre-seminal fluid (madhi), prostatic fluid (wadi), and vaginal discharge. Madhi and wadi do not necessitate ghusl, but rather ritual cleansing (istinja) and wudu. Vaginal discharge is not impure but it nullifies wudu.

Semen (mani): It is thick, has a smell, and is emitted in spurts when desire intensifies. It necessitates ghusl. Pre-seminal fluid (madhi): It is a thin, odorless fluid that is emitted without spurting when desire subsides. It necessitates wudu, and it suffices to sprinkle water (nadh) and wash the penis and testicles. Prostatic fluid (wadi): It is a white discharge that comes out after urination, and it has the same rulings as urine in all respects. As for vaginal discharge, it is not impure, but it nullifies wudu.
