What is the ruling on going to a wedding hall after having covenanted with Allah not to enter one, knowing that weddings are held in homes or halls without intermingling in the questioner's country?

If a Muslim makes a covenant with his Lord, he must fulfill it. If he breaks it, he must repent and offer expiation for breaking an oath. It is not permissible to attend a celebration if it includes an abomination, such as unlawful singing.
