Working in horse breeding is permissible, unless the horses are intended for gambling races that lack Islamic controls. In such a case, it is not permissible to work in their breeding, due to the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing to] stone altars, and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may succeed," and His saying: "And cooperate not in sin and aggression." This includes working in horse breeding for gambling, whether their owners are Muslims or disbelievers.
