What is the ruling on working on a farm that raises horses used in horse races? Is the profit or loss resulting from these competitions considered unlawful? And what is the benefit of horses and horsemanship in this era?

Working in horse breeding is permissible, unless the horses are intended for gambling races that lack Islamic controls. In such a case, it is not permissible to work in their breeding, due to the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing to] stone altars, and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may succeed," and His saying: "And cooperate not in sin and aggression." This includes working in horse breeding for gambling, whether their owners are Muslims or disbelievers.
