Is it permissible to trade by purchasing a specific commodity and then selling it for cash or in installments after adding a profit?

There is no harm in investing money by selling a commodity that is in demand after purchasing it and it comes into the seller's possession, due to Allah's saying: ﴿And Allah has permitted trade.﴾
