Embezzling funds from companies and the like is forbidden, as it violates trustworthiness and failing to fulfill contracts. Repentance for this requires returning the stolen money to its owners. This can be done by depositing it into the company's account without the owners' knowledge. If one is unable to return all the money and some remains, he may delay its repayment if he predominantly believes he will be able to repay it in the future. If he is unable to fulfill the obligation, he must seek the company's forgiveness, unless doing so would result in harm that disrupts his life.
