What is the ruling on a citizen taking a percentage of the profits from a foreign investor's business, either in exchange for registering the business in his name without participating in the capital, or by participating with a percentage less than his profit percentage?

Renting out a commercial register is permissible in Islamic law if authorized by the competent authorities, and if it involves no deception, fraud, or disobedience to the ruler. In this case, legal responsibility transfers to the beneficiary of the register. It is also permissible to share in the use of a license, either through a financial contribution from the citizen along with the provision of the license, or by providing the license alone after its valuation, provided that losses are borne proportionally to shares. However, giving the owner of the register a payment solely for pure sponsorship is not permissible.
