How is the inheritance divided among seven sons and one daughter?

If a person dies and leaves behind only one daughter and seven sons, the inheritance is divided among them according to the rule of "to the male, the equivalent of the share of two females," based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." The inheritance is divided into fifteen shares: the daughter receives one share, and each son receives two shares. Inheritance cases must be brought before the Sharia courts for investigation to ensure there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or other rights taking precedence over the heirs' right.
