We cannot determine the existence or absence of necessity in hospitals, as it varies from one country to another and from one situation to another. We are not aware of any institution that provides information on this matter. As for the ruling on a student studying subjects related to women's awrah (intimate parts), it is referred to fatwas number: 51792 and number: 90204. Such specific issues rely on (independent reasoning) and istinbat (deduction), and it is permissible for a scholar to disregard a dalil (evidence) when it is obscure.
