Is it permissible not to remove the hair inside the labia, given the difficulty of its removal and the wounds it causes? Is it necessary to rub and wash every fold in the vulva to ensure water reaches the roots of the hair during ghusl? Is the hair that remains stuck to clothes after being removed during menstruation wash considered najis (impure)?

Shaving pubic hair is sunnah (recommended) but not obligatory. Pubic hair includes all hair that grows around and above the private parts. If a woman does not remove this hair, there is no sin upon her, because it is a sunnah. Hair is pure, so whatever falls from it onto clothes is not impure. However, washing the roots of the hair is obligatory. A woman should not give in to obsessive thoughts (waswas), and it is sufficient to believe that water has reached all parts of the body.
