Which prayers are to be recited silently and which are to be recited audibly in congregation?

The prayers that are performed in congregation by agreement of the jurists are: the five (daily) prayers, Friday prayer, Tarawih prayers, the eclipse prayer, the prayer for rain (Istisqa'), and the two Eid prayers. Congregation is permissible for supererogatory (nafl) prayers, though it is preferable to perform them individually, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did both, and most of his supererogatory prayers were performed individually.
