What is the ruling on the wife who repeatedly betrays her husband, neglects her home and children, abandons them, and leaves after taking the husband's possessions, and what is the ruling on her family's actions?

A wife who talks to non-mahram men and leaves her marital home without her husband's permission is disobedient and rebellious. Her father is not permitted to remove her from her home without the husband's permission. It is advisable to sit down with the father and discuss the matter with him, informing him of the reality of his daughter's actions, and seeking help from virtuous people. If the father refuses her return, the matter can be taken to a Sharia judge to compel her to return. If she does not return, then divorcing her is preferable. She is not entitled to custody of the children as long as she is in this state, but the forfeiture of custody does not prevent her from seeing her children.
