What are the recommendations for dealing with the discovery of theft by one's children and the resulting fears for the future?

A child steals for reasons such as not differentiating between borrowing and stealing, deprivation, or to attract attention and seek revenge.

To solve the problem: Remain calm, advise the child about the ruling on theft in Islam and the constant observation of Allah Almighty, by His saying: ("As for the thief, male or female, cut off their hands...") and ("And He is with you wherever you are..."). Confront the child with the reason, ask him to return what was stolen or compensate for it, while depriving him of privileges, and monitor him continuously.
