Does a husband's divorce take effect if he swears to his wife by divorce that she should not take money from her father?

The fatwa adopted by us regarding the ruling on swearing an oath by divorce is that if the husband breaks his oath, his divorce takes effect, whether he intended divorce or merely affirmation. The husband's violation of his oath depends on his intention behind what he uttered.

As for the obligatory maintenance for the husband, it is the sufficient amount for food, housing, and clothing, and he is not obligated to give his wife additional spending money beyond the obligatory maintenance.

The general principle is that the husband does not have the right to prevent his wife from accepting a gift from her father.
