I made a covenant with Allah to do something daily, but I did not continue. What should I do?

It is not clear whether what was vowed to God was an act of obedience or not. If it was an act of obedience, then it is a vow and must be fulfilled. What was missed due to an excuse should be made up, and if it was without an excuse, it should be made up and a single expiation for breaking an oath should be added. However, if it was not an act of obedience, then it is an oath, and the oath is broken once by violating it, and there is no need to repeat the expiation.
