Is it permissible to hold a wedding three days after the death of a relative?

There is nothing in Islam that prevents marrying a paternal uncle's daughter immediately after her uncle's death, especially after the three days during which it is permissible to mourn for someone other than one's husband. It is not permissible to mourn for more than three days except for one's husband, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days, except for her husband." Therefore, delaying marriage as a form of mourning for someone other than one's husband is not permissible. However, if it is to avoid upsetting the feelings of their children with a wedding celebration during their time of grief, then that is a commendable act.
