How can a veiled, praying woman rid herself of the habit of stealing?

Theft is a grave crime and a major sin. The Wise Lawgiver has made its punishment severe, as the hands of the male and female thief are to be cut off, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the thief.

You must repent to Allah Almighty for this sin, resolve not to return to it, regret what has passed, and return the stolen money to its owners.

Among the things that will help you abandon this wicked habit are being mindful of Allah and remembering His closeness and His watchful eye over you, as well as remembering Allah's warning to thieves in this world and the Hereafter. You should also supplicate and humble yourself before Allah to help you rid yourself of this sin.
