It is permissible to design electronic games that are free from Sharia prohibitions. However, it is not permissible to participate in Google AdSense advertisements due to the possibility of prohibited ads appearing. Money earned from advertising something permissible is lawful (halal), but sin is incurred when advertising something prohibited. If something appears in an ad that is not permissible according to Sharia, even if the original ad is permissible, then it must be prevented, and the payment for it is permissible.
