Is it necessary for the Witr prayer to be the last prayer of the night, or is it permissible to perform the night vigil (Qiyam al-Layl) or the Istikhara prayer after it?

The Sunnah for someone who intends to perform night prayer (Qiyam al-Layl) is to make their last prayer at night an odd-numbered one (Witr). For someone confident they will wake up in the last part of the night, it is recommended to delay Witr to conclude their night prayers with it. This is the more preferable and better option. It is permissible for someone who has prayed Witr to pray as much as they wish afterwards, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Make the last of your prayers at night Witr," and his saying: "The night prayer is two by two, and when you fear the morning, pray one unit of Witr." The Prophet (peace be upon him) indeed prayed two rak'ahs after Witr while sitting. The correct understanding is that he performed these two rak'ahs after Witr while sitting to demonstrate the permissibility of praying after Witr and the permissibility of performing voluntary prayers while sitting.
