The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is mentioned in the Holy Quran by several names, including: Muhammad, Ahmad, Al-Rasul (the Messenger), An-Nabi (the Prophet), Al-Muzzammil (the Enshrouded One), and Al-Muddathir (the Cloaked One). The mention of Muhammad appears in His Almighty's saying: (And Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have certainly passed on before him). The mention of Ahmad appears in His Almighty's saying, on the tongue of Jesus, peace be upon him: (And [is] bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad). Al-Rasul (the Messenger) is mentioned in His Almighty's saying: (O Messenger!). An-Nabi (the Prophet) is mentioned in His Almighty's saying: (O Prophet!). And Al-Muzzammil and Al-Muddathir are mentioned at the beginning of Surat Al-Muzzammil and Surat Al-Muddathir.
