The answer

If fifteen days have passed since your previous menstruation, then the blood you see now is menstrual blood, whether it is due to birth control or naturally. You should refrain from prayer, fasting, and all that is forbidden to you, as long as the bleeding does not exceed fifteen days. If it exceeds that period, then perform and pray, because you would then be in a state of (non-menstrual bleeding). The scantiness of the blood at the beginning is not taken into consideration. Since your period does not exceed 12 or 13 days, all of it is considered menstruation.
