Why did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, mention that the provision of children was only through Khadijah, even though he was blessed with his son Ibrahim from Maria al-Qibtiyyah?

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that she never felt as jealous of any of the Prophet’s wives (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as she did of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), even though she had never seen her. This was because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to mention her frequently, praise her, and send gifts to her friends. Whenever Aisha would ask him about the reason for this, he would say: “Indeed, she was such and such, and I had children from her.” Scholars have offered two explanations for the absence of mention of Ibrahim from Maria al-Qibtiyya: either the narration took place before Ibrahim’s birth, or the intention behind "children" referred to those who lived and did not die, like Ibrahim.
