What is the ruling on the Hajj of one who entered into the state of ihram for Hajj on the Day of Arafah, saying, "And if an impediment prevents me, then my place of exit from ihram is where you have prevented me," then spent the first night in Mina, but was unable to spend the second night due to his uncle's illness and his transfer to the hospital?

"Whoever catches the standing at Arafah has caught the Hajj." If the questioner has stayed overnight in Muzdalifah, stoned the Jamrat al-Aqaba on the Day of Eid, performed Tawaf (definition) al-Ifadah and Sa'y, and missed nothing but staying overnight in Mina for the remaining nights of Tashreeq and stoning the Jamarat (definition), then nothing is incumbent upon him for missing the overnight stay in Mina due to a valid excuse. It is preferable for him to feed two mudd (half a sa'a) as a precautionary measure. As for missing the stoning of the Jamarat, a dam (sacrificial animal) is incumbent upon him, because he could have appointed someone to do it on his behalf. Likewise, a dam is incumbent upon him for missing the Farewell Tawaf.
