How will the sun be "kuiwirat" (coiled/wound up) on the Day of Resurrection, when it is already coiled/wound up?

Ibn Jarir al-Tabari mentioned that the meaning of "when the sun is kūwirat (الشمس كورت)" is the disappearance of its light and its being cast away. He explained that "takwir" (تكوير) in the Arabic language means gathering something upon itself and rolling it up.
