Is it permissible to supplicate that one has no desire towards women, and that one hates females and women, due to one's weakness and inability to be patient, and one's transgression of Allah's sacred limits because of this desire which has destroyed one's religion and faith?

A supplication to curb the desire for women goes against the objectives of Islamic law (Sharia) and the practices of the prophets, and it may be considered an transgression in supplication. What is prescribed is to supplicate for protection from trials (fitan) and to avert their evil, as Yusuf (Joseph), peace be upon him, said: "My Lord, prison is more beloved to me than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and be among the ignorant." One must hasten to repent from masturbation and unlawful gazing, and not despair of Allah's mercy, for repentance erases what came before it. To overcome desire for those who cannot marry, it is recommended to fast, guard one's hearing and sight, avoid places of temptation, occupy one's time with beneficial deeds, while seeking Allah's help.
