How can we reconcile the manuscripts which mention that the creation of the heavens and the earth took place approximately 4137 years ago, with modern science which estimates the age of the Earth to be more than three billion years?

To determine whether an opinion is correct, one must know its speaker and whether they are among the people of knowledge, then examine their evidence. Allah created the heavens and the earth from nothing in six days, as stated in the Holy Quran. As for the creation of Adam, scholars have differed on whether it falls within the six days, but the more preponderant view is that it occurred after the creation of the heavens and the earth. The opinion that Prophet Muhammad was created ten generations after Adam is incorrect, as the duration of generations is not fixed, and the age of the earth differs from the age of humans.
