The correct view is that it is not appropriate for a man to kiss his mother or daughter on the mouth. Similarly, a brother should not kiss his sister, paternal aunt, maternal aunt, or any of his mahram (unmarriageable kin) on the mouth, because kissing on the mouth is specific to the spouse.
