First: Waswas (whispers/obsessive thoughts) do not harm your faith as long as you detest them; rather, they are proof of the sincerity of your faith. However, the danger lies in succumbing to them and allowing the heart to surrender to them.

Second: Your claim that acts of worship have no logic is false. Acts of worship were ordained for sublime wisdoms, including the rectification of the heart and its turning towards its Creator, and the fulfillment of His saying, exalted be He: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."

Third: Excessive fear of punishment that leads to abandoning worship is reprehensible and must be rectified by hoping for Allah's reward and grace, so that you are both fearful and hopeful.

Fourth: The path to salvation from punishment is to turn more towards Allah, strive in His obedience, repent from sins, and have good thoughts of Allah.

Fifth: We advise you to read what increases your confidence and certainty in the oneness of Allah, such as the book "Al-Aqeedah fi Allah" (Belief in Allah) by Dr. Omar Al-Ashqar, and to read about the virtues of Islam.

Sixth: No one is safe from trials except whom Allah has decreed salvation for, and the matter requires attaching the heart to Allah and relying on Him for steadfastness in religion and protection from trials.
