Is it true that Allah Almighty said to Moses (peace be upon him): "Behave yourself, O Moses," when he asked Him about the identity of the backbiter who caused the rain to cease, after Allah had sent down rain upon them following the backbiter's repentance?

Al-Qurtubi and Al-Ghazali mentioned a story from Ka'b al-Ahbar that the Children of Israel were afflicted with drought. When Moses went out with them to pray for rain, they were not given water due to the presence of a slanderer among them. Allah had forbidden them from slandering, so they repented and were given water. Slandering is one of the major sins that deprives one of sustenance, and seeking forgiveness is one of the causes for bringing sustenance and rainfall, as in Noah's saying to his people: "And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [copious] showers And give you increase in wealth and children and make for you gardens and make for you rivers.'"
