Is reminding worshippers after every prayer with the Almighty's saying, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you," considered an innovation (bid'ah)?

Persevering in saying: "And your Lord says, 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you'" to the congregants after every prayer may be considered an innovation (bid'ah), especially if the one doing it believes that they will be rewarded for it. This is because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who was the most eager of people to teach good, did not do it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever performs an action that is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected," and "Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it will be rejected." And the saying of Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him: "Follow and do not innovate, for you have been sufficed. Adhere to the ancient matter."
