Is it permissible to accept material incentives in exchange for the number of new pages memorized by students in a Quran memorization school?

It is permissible to take a wage for teaching the Qur'an, and the incentives given to the memorizer or teacher are permissible and desirable if they encourage memorization and teaching, provided the intention is sincere for the sake of Allah Almighty, and that these incentives are secondary, not the primary aim. The Permanent Committee has issued a fatwa permitting the giving of monetary prizes to encourage students to memorize the Qur'an, while directing them to purify their intentions for Allah's sake.
