The answer

Marriage is best for those who love each other. If the young man is religious and of good character, the father does not have the right to refuse to marry his daughter to him merely due to a difference in educational level. It is recommended to try and convince the father. If he is not convinced and the refusal is arbitrary, the girl has the right to refer the matter to the judge. However, if the girl's marriage to this young man would lead to the father breaking an oath of divorce, thereby causing harm to the parents, she must refrain from this marriage. The majority of jurists hold that an oath of divorce cannot be revoked if the sworn-upon condition is fulfilled.
