Does the prayer and ablution become invalid due to forgetting the presence of dry blood inside the nose?
Blood is impure (najis), and blood inside the nose must be washed away, because the inside of the nose is considered like the apparent (outer) part of the body in this matter. It states in Sharh al-Kharashi on Mukhtasar Khalil al-Maliki: "The removal of impurity is required from the apparent body of the worshipper and from that which is considered like it, such as the inside of the nose, ear, and eye." And whoever prays with an impurity, having forgotten its presence, their prayer is valid and does not need to be repeated, because the removal of impurity is a condition when one remembers and is able to do so.
