How do I persevere in dhikr (remembrance of God)? And how do I learn patience?

Patience in remembering Allah falls under the category of patience in obedience. It is not surprising that Satan strives to prevent a servant from remembering his Lord, and this requires struggle, patience, and perseverance to overcome him. Patience is achieved by seeking Allah's help, for "whoever endeavors to be patient, Allah will make him patient." Furthermore, sincerity in one's actions for Allah and bearing in mind the worldly and otherworldly rewards makes patience in remembrance easier.
