The aforementioned was reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim from Zaynab bint Jahsh that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered, alarmed, saying: "There is no god but Allah. Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near." There was a difference of opinion regarding what was meant by "evil." Some said it was what occurred after the killing of Uthman and the subsequent tribulations that made the Arabs like "a dish for diners." It is also possible that what was meant was the abundance of wealth after the conquests, which led to rivalry and tribulations, and their competition for leadership, and the resulting fighting among Muslims.
