Is it permissible to work in the Islamic Forex market – despite the presence of some prohibitions – in order to obtain the money necessary for marriage, due to strong desire and fear of falling into zina, knowing that there is an illness that prevents strenuous work?

The answer

Marriage should be initiated by anyone who fears falling into sin. Lack of financial ability should not prevent one from marrying, as Imam Ahmad said: "A man should marry; if he has means to spend, he should spend, and if he has none, he should be patient." And as Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him." Until marriage becomes easy, one must be patient, practice abstinence, fast frequently, guard their hearing and sight, seek lawful earnings, and avoid the unlawful. Forex trading is permissible if it is free from leverage and adheres to Sharia guidelines.
