Does the ruling on Khamr (wine/intoxicants) apply to beer that contains a small percentage of alcohol, and what is the ruling on Arba'eeniyah in beer?

It is forbidden to drink a beverage mixed with a percentage of alcohol, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "That of which a large amount intoxicates, a small amount is unlawful," and "Every intoxicant is unlawful; that of which a 'faraq' intoxicates, a handful of it is unlawful." In another narration: "Even a sip of it is unlawful."
