What should the worshiper do if the imam of his mosque regularly performs qunut silently before rukoo‘ in the second rak‘ah of the Fajr prayer? Should he perform qunut with him, or remain silent?

It appears that the Imam is of the Maliki school of thought, and the congregant is commanded to follow his Imam. So, as long as the Imam performs the Qunut silently, the congregant should also perform the Qunut silently.
