The treatment for thoughts and obsessions (waswās) is to be certain that Allah is All-Wise and Just in all His actions and decrees. He decrees nothing except with profound wisdom and for a benefit. His decrees deserve praise, even if they appear to contain evil, because of the goodness and mercy they encompass. Indeed, the Lord, Exalted is He, is praised for all that He decrees. His decreeing of evil may be followed by good that could not have been achieved without it.
