There is no legal impediment to using old clothes for cleaning homes, wiping dust, and the like. No attention should be paid to the statements of some people in this regard. It is better to donate usable old clothes to the poor, due to the great virtue of charity, for "every person will be in the shade of his charity until judgment is passed between people."
