Why is a man's body not a temptation for a woman, and why does a man always desire to look at a woman and not vice versa? And is a woman affected by a man's body as he is?

Allah created male and female and placed a natural inclination between them for the continuation of progeny. The questioner's statement that women are not tempted by the appearance of men is incorrect; otherwise, Allah would not have commanded women to lower their gaze from men. However, the temptation of men by women is greater in most cases, due to the natural inclination Allah instilled in men for love and attachment to women, and due to the adornment Allah placed in them, as in His Almighty saying: "Beautified for people is the love of desires, from women." Added to this is the innate modesty of women, and the role of Satan in beautifying women for men, as stated in the Hadith: "The woman is 'awrah (nakedness/private part), so when she goes out, Satan beautifies her in the eyes of others." It is incumbent upon the Muslim to strive against their self and restrain it from forbidden desires and to lower the gaze. And it is incumbent upon the woman to protect herself from vulgarity and from exposing herself to men with enticement.
