Will the sick person who was afflicted with an incurable disease as a punishment for his sins, then cured by means of legitimate ruqyah and supplication, be resurrected with Prophet Ayyub and enter Paradise without reckoning, or will he not have this reward after his recovery?

Allah tests His servant so that he may repent and turn to Him. Corruption and trials are a reminder for people, so that they might return and humble themselves. If the servant repents after the trial, he has succeeded in the test and praised Allah for His guidance. Trials expiate the sins of a believer and raise his ranks, as in the Hadith: "No fatigue, nor disease... afflicts a Muslim but that Allah expiates with it his sins," and "Calamity continues to afflict the believing man and woman... until they meet Allah with no sin on them." As for being resurrected with Ayyub (Job), peace be upon him, there is no evidence for it. The trials of prophets are more severe, but it is hoped that a Muslim will be gathered with the prophets in Paradise.
