Prayer, zakat, fasting, Hajj, and other acts of worship were present in the laws of previous prophets, such as the prayer commanded to Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and Jacob; zakat, which was mentioned alongside prayer in numerous verses; fasting, which was enjoined upon previous nations; Hajj, which Abraham was commanded to perform; and jihad, which was made obligatory for the Children of Israel.
