Is it permissible for a woman to accept payment for teaching the Qur’an and other subjects without her husband’s knowledge, knowing that he forbade her from doing so, but she needs the money out of necessity?

A husband's right to prevent his wife from teaching children in his home is acknowledged, to spare him embarrassment in fulfilling his marital needs, as stipulated by Shafii jurists. However, since the husband has permitted his wife to teach female students, it appears that he does not have the right to prevent her from taking a wage for it, just as he would not prevent her from sewing or similar activities. It is worth noting that there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding the permissibility of taking a wage for teaching the Quran, with the preponderant view being its permissibility.
