The Hawariyyun (disciples) are the followers of Jesus, peace be upon him, his loyal companions, and his messengers for conveying the call. They were named as such due to their sincerity in supporting Jesus, peace be upon him, and advising him, as stated in the Almighty's قول (statement): "He said, 'Who are my helpers for Allah?' The disciples said, 'We are Allah's helpers; we believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims.'"
