Is taking money from a designated charity box and then returning it to it considered a sin for which the doer will be held accountable?

If the questioner wishes to save a portion of his money in a charity fund to disburse monthly or as he sees fit, and then he needs some of this money, so he takes from what he saved and then returns it, there is no sin upon him in that, because the money has not yet left his possession. So, if it is permissible for the giver of charity to retrieve what he has set aside with the intention of giving charity before the recipient takes possession of it, then it is even more permissible for him to benefit from it with the intention of returning an equivalent amount to what he benefited from.
