Will Allah, by His mercy, take people out of Hellfire who have never done any good deeds at all apart from the Two Testimonies? And do these people pray? And if that is the case, how could they not have done any good deeds? And is it a condition that they must have fasted, given zakat, or performed Hajj? And will those who are taken out by intercession be taken out much earlier than them?

The aforementioned Hadith was narrated by Imam Ahmad and authenticated by Al-Albani. Its purport is that on the Day of Resurrection, believers will dispute with their Lord to extract their brethren who have entered Hellfire. Allah will then command the extraction of those whom they recognized, and thereafter, anyone who had in their heart an atom's weight of faith will be brought out. After the intercession of angels, prophets, and believers, Allah, by His mercy, will bring forth people who never did any good deed at all. Life-giving water will be poured upon them, and they will sprout forth and enter Paradise, and it will be said to them, "My pleasure is upon you, and I shall never be displeased with you thereafter." It can be inferred from this that those who never did any good deed at all were not among those who prayed. However, this does not mean being lenient regarding prayer, which is one of the gravest sins. Lenience in sins may lead to dying upon a religion other than Islam. The Hadith does not specify a time duration between the exit of the two groups; rather, it indicates the short period between them.
