Is it permissible to pray in the mosque behind imams who do not speak the truth and are considered "palace imams"?

It has been previously stated that prayer behind an innovator or a transgressor Imam is valid, though disliked. We advise those who are not qualified to issue fatwas to refrain from doing so, especially since many who lack knowledge and forbearance disparage scholars and students of knowledge, because of their non-participation in inciting discord and bloodshed, and accuse them of not speaking the truth or of being "sultan's scholars."
