Does the deceased who was buried on Thursday, and whose first night in the grave happens to be Friday, fall under the category that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, told us about?

The virtue of dying on Friday, as mentioned in the noble Hadith, "No Muslim dies on Friday or on the night of Friday except that Allah protects him from the trial of the grave," applies to those who die on Friday or its eve, not to those who died before it and were buried on it. Scholars have differed regarding the authenticity of this Hadith; some have weakened it due to an interruption in its chain of transmission and the weakness of some of its narrators, such as Al-Tirmidhi, Ahmad Shakir, Shu'ayb Al-Arna'ut, Ibn Hajar, and Ibn Baz. Others have deemed it Hasan (good) due to its multiple chains of narration, such as Sheikh Al-Albani. In conclusion, Allah's grace is vast for those who die upon Tawhid (monotheism), and entering Paradise or being saved from the torment of the grave is not restricted to the day of death.
