Is God the constant planner and director of His creation, or did He create Adam and Eve and then leave procreation to occur solely through human marriage? And if the answer is that God is the planner, then why does He permit the creation of a child of fornication or a child of rape?

Everything that occurs in the universe is created by Allah Almighty and willed by Him. He is the Creator of all things, and He possesses perfect wisdom in all that He decrees and ordains. Allah created Adam and Eve and provided them with the ability to procreate, and He instilled in humanity the desire [for intimacy] to preserve offspring. The servant is the true doer [of actions], while Allah is his Creator and the Creator of his actions by His will and decree. As for deviations from the Sharia (definition), such as children born out of wedlock, these occur by Allah's decree for a profound wisdom that may be hidden from us. Among these wisdoms are the manifestation of Allah's Names and Attributes, the engagement of Allah's righteous servants in enjoining good and forbidding evil, and the demonstration of the wisdom behind His legislations.
